What Will Rod Say? Kimberley Stewart Reveals Pregnancy Following Fling With Actor Benicio del Toro

It was announced yesterday that Rod Stewart’s daughter, Kimberley is pregnant with her first child. The news rocked the celebrity world last night as not only has Kimberley been out of the limelight for some time, but it was also revealed that the father of her unborn child is Oscar winner, Benicio del Toro, with whom she is not even in a relationship with.



It is believed that the couple had been enjoying a casual romance for some time, although managed to not only keep it out of the spotlight but were also never photographed together during their short-lived romance. Kimberley, 31, who has carved a career as a model and actress over recent years, has had a number of high profile romances including musician Cisco Adler whom she became engaged to in 2005 after a year of dating. However, the couple split soon after, with Miss Stewart being forced to have her ‘Daddy’s Little Girl Loves Cisco’ tattoo altered, to read ‘Daddy’s Little Girl Loves Disco’. Other romances that have been noted by the media include a short lived fling with Jack Osbourne, to who she gave her old D-cup silicone implants to as a present. Osbourne is reported to have framed the implants which now hang within his home.



The news may come as a shock to those close to actor del Toro, who won an Oscar in 2001 for his role in Traffic, as in the past he has been very vocal on his lack of interest in settling down. In an interview with British newspaper The Times, Benicio made his thoughts clear, stating that his apartment was his ‘cave’, which he did not want to be ‘invaded’ by having children or a wife. However, he appears to have changed his mind as it was his spokesperson, who announced the pregnancy to Life & Style magazine, stating: ‘Kimberley is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive. Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.’



Del Toro, like Miss Stewart has also enjoyed a number of high profile romances including Alicia Silverstone, Scarlett Johansson and Minnie Driver. However, the actor has seemed keen to steer away from marriage stating at one premier: ‘Why? Everyone says, 2Why isn’t he married?" But it’s like, "Why do I have to get married? Just so I can get divorced?"’



Miss Stewart’s newborn baby will join the growing Stewart brood which was joined by her baby brother Aiden, who was born in February to his wife, model Penny Lancaster. Although father to 8 children, this will be singer, Rod’s first grandchild.
